* This isn't your average day sometimes, is it?
* No, not particularly. I mean, on a usual, daily basis, being hurled through a dimensional portal ends in point, twelve seconds. I'm still falling somewhere over the rainbow.
* Yet, Iazuré did indeed end up landing feet flat on some forest's floor. Trees reached into the air above him, and the sun was just now rising above the distant, snow covered mountains. A light mist lay upon the land, and wherever Iazuré was, it was only slightly chilly. This new land wasn't any Iazuré had seen previously. It'd been a long trip through time and space compared to your average sequence.
* It's been a minute since, so I guess I better adjust my knives for quick access and get on the road. Maybe there's a town nearby. He was quick to adjust the ten different knives he carried all over his body, and quicker yet to adjust the tomahawk among them. The man pulled his crossbow up from his side, adjusting the leather sling. This strange new world...perhaps wasn't a hostile environment. The Emerians wouldn't find him hopefully, or his brother and cousin. What a strange trip indeed.
* Piercing blue eyes looked up at the morning sky, energy pulsing throughout his skeleton, glowing through his flesh and clothing. A gloved hand ran fingers through his jet black hair. No doubt it was a beautiful morning...but it wasn't on his home planet.
* Crap...?
* No, Iazuré thought things might be better this way. Nobody would know who he was, what he was, or the things he might be able to do. As long as he trained in secrecy.
* "Well, brother, maybe I'll find you here on this abandoned rock...let's hope for the best." A light chuckle responded to Iazuré's words.
* Do you really think that this journey will be so pleasant? It doesn't look quite easy. We're lost. The devious chuckling began again, and Iazuré smirked at nobody in particular.
* "A journey is always pleasant, Shosh. It's the chance to begin again. We'll find our family yet." With a confident smirk, Iazuré began romping through the forest, but he was quiet, agile, stealthy. The man hadn't been welcomed before because of what he was and the role he played in the universe. Perhaps there were those who knew nothing about his kinds.
* Yes, kinds. The enigmatic figure was a mash up of several different creatures genetically and spiritually. One that could go wild with rage at the first hint of incredible pain, and another that was...mythological and fantastical. Surreal, in other words. The third was evolution and elevation compared to the human state of being.
* Those three heritages made it easier for him to adjust to travel through the fabrics of time, space, and other dimensions. His body had quickly adjusted, allowing Iazuré to maintain a stable landing without losing his lunch and breakfast all in one sitting. The dizziness that lingered still was weak and ineffective against Iazuré's adaptability.
* Since he was no longer affected by these symptoms of compression, Iazuré retained his sense of direction. Somewhat. The sun rose to his right; that was east then. Instead of walking towards the rising sun, Iazuré turned tail and began heading west. Though the foliage was lax in this area, Iazuré was sure he could find a safe place to hide and defend himself if he absolutely needed to. Now, he was off...heading unknowingly in the direction of a city named Xaron...
